1. Dhikr 1 of 4 · Once

   Before ablution

   Listen

   بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

   Bismil-lah.

   In the name of Allah.

2. Dhikr 2 of 4 · Once

   After ablution

   Listen

   أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

   Ashhadu an la ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, wa-ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu warasooluh.

   I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

   VirtueWhoever performs ablution well and then says it, the eight gates of Paradise are opened for him to enter by whichever he wishes.

   Listen

   اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

   Allahummaj-'alnee minat-tawwabeena waj'alnee minal-mutatahhireen.

   O Allah, make me among those who constantly repent, and make me among those who purify themselves.

   Listen

   سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

   Subhanakal-lahumma wabihamdika ashhadu an la ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa-atoobu ilayk.

   Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You; I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You.
