1. Dhikr 1 of 7 · Once

   The talbiyah

   Listen

   لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ، وَالنِّعْمَةَ، لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ

   Labbaykal-lahumma labbayk, labbayka la shareeka laka labbayk, innal-hamda wanni'mata laka walmulk, la shareeka lak.

   Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Indeed all praise, favour and sovereignty are Yours; You have no partner.

2. Dhikr 2 of 7 · Once

   At the Black Stone

   Listen

   اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

   Allahu akbar.

   Allah is the Greatest.

   NoteThe Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) circled the Kaaba on a camel; each time he came to the corner he pointed to it with what he held and said Allah is the Greatest.

3. Dhikr 3 of 7 · Once

   Between the Yemeni corner and the Black Stone

   Listen

   وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةًۭ وَفِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةًۭ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ﴿٢٠١﴾

   But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

4. Dhikr 4 of 7 · 3 times

   At Safa and Marwah

   Listen

   اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ. لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ

   Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar. La ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamd, wahuwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer, la ilaha illal-lahu wahdah, anjaza wa'dah, wanasara 'abdah, wahazamal-ahzaba wahdah.

   Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner; to Him belongs the sovereignty and the praise, and He is over all things able. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone; He fulfilled His promise, gave victory to His servant, and alone defeated the confederates.

   NoteApproaching Safa the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited: indeed Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah (2:158), saying: I begin with what Allah began with. He climbed until he saw the House, faced the qiblah, and said this three times, supplicating in between; at Marwah he did the same.

5. Dhikr 5 of 7 · Once

   The day of Arafah

   Listen

   لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

   La ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamd, wahuwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer.

   None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner; to Him belongs the sovereignty and the praise, and He is over all things able.

   VirtueThe best supplication is the supplication of the day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the prophets before me have said is: none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner; to Him belongs the sovereignty and the praise, and He is over all things able.

6. Dhikr 6 of 7 · Once

   At Al-Mash'ar Al-Haram (Muzdalifah)

   Listen

   رَكِبَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْقَصْوَاءَ حَتَّى أَتَى الْمَشْعَرَ الْحَرَامَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ (فَدَعَاهُ، وَكَبَّرَهُ، وَهَللَّهُ، وَوَحَّدَهُ) فَلَمْ يَزَلْ وَاقِفاً حَتَّى أَسْفَرَ جِدَّاً فَدَفَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمسُ

   The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rode his camel Al-Qaswa until he reached Al-Mash'ar Al-Haram, faced the qiblah, supplicated to Allah, magnified Him, declared His oneness, and remained standing until it became very bright, then set off before sunrise.

7. Dhikr 7 of 7 · Once

   When stoning the pillars

   Listen

   اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

   Allahu akbar.

   Allah is the Greatest.

   NoteSay Allah is the Greatest with every pebble at the three pillars; after the first and second, step forward, face the qiblah and supplicate with raised hands. At the last pillar (Al-Aqabah), stone it saying Allah is the Greatest with every pebble, then leave without standing to supplicate.
